We could not do what we do without our dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Our team is incredibly diverse and everybody comes from very different walks of life; each bringing something unique and invaluable to our work in Uganda.
Emilie is a qualified primary school teacher with a passion for quality education. She is originally from the UK but has been involved in Uganda since 2014 but now lives their alongside her partner and 3 children where she manages our first projects
Josh grew up in rural Uganda and witnessed first hand the poverty many children live in. He is passionate about breaking the cycle of poverty they are in. He spends his time voluntarily working as one of our directors; making executive decision about the running of our projects.
Sheeba is originally from India, but has been living in Uganda for several years now. She works as a primary school teacher at a local international school and specialises in maths and science. She is currently helping us involve the Indian community in Uganda in our work.
Justus is our Year One and Two class teacher. His previous experience working in an international school as an assistant has proven him an invaluable member of our team. He is calm and patient and his classroom always has a peaceful atmosphere.
Gloria is our Nursery and Reception class teacher. Gloria is a qualified teacher who joined our team straight out of college. She is young, energetic and eager to learn. She has a wonderful manner with the children and always has a huge smile on her face.
Francis teaches our Key Stage Two class; Year Three through to Year Six. He goes above and beyond in helping the students with their studies in order to prepare them to sit their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLEs) at the end of Year 6.
Hana is co-founder and director of CEDA. She has dedicated her life and studies to social work. After completing her masters degree in the UK, she spent a lot of time in Namibia and Uganda. She currently resides in the Czech Republic where she assists with the overall running of CEDA.
Jacqueline is a trustee of the charity, ensuring it meets the objectives it was created for. She also helps with various administration tasks in the UK, including sending correspondence to sponsors, dealing with banking and shipping items to Uganda.
Veronika resides in the Czech Republic and is one of the first trustees of CEDA. She helps to ensure the charity meets the objectives it set out to.
Dan has over ten years experience in advertising and design. He has used his expertise to voluntarily help us with web and logo design, as well as creating flyers, magazines and PDF files. He helps us to spread the word about the work we do!
Jess recently joined our team to help us out with our social media on a voluntary basis. She helps with content creation and we are so excited to have her on board to help show the world the change CEDA is making through education.
Kym recently joined our team as a social media volunteer. She uses her expertise to help with the analytics side of social media; ensuring we post our content when our wonderful supporters are mostly likely to see it!
