We believe in quality education. Large class sizes, teacher absenteeism and a huge lack of resources in many Ugandan schools mean that thousands of students are receiving a very basic education that does not allow them to reach their full potential.
In September 2018, we opened CEDA Home School. With just 6 children studying there and two teachers, it is enabling our children to learn in ways that best suit them.
We have always dreamed of opening a school in the future. With CEDA Home School, our dreams have already begun. We are following a varied curriculum - English and Maths follow the British Curriculum whereby other subjects follow the Ugandan Curriculum. We hope to provide our students with a deep understanding of the world around them, helping them to grow into knowledgeable, empathetic and well rounded adults.
