CEDA

HOME SCHOOL

Our small school is providing a quality education for children from some of he most disadvantaged commmunites in Uganda.

HOW DID WE BEGIN?

We believe in quality education. Large class sizes, teacher absenteeism and a huge lack of resources in many Ugandan schools mean that thousands of students are receiving a very basic education that does not allow them to reach their full potential.

In September 2018, we opened CEDA Home School. We began with just six students and two teachers, but we have been slowly growing. We now have 16 students and 3 teachers but have the capacity to expand the school to 4 classes with 48 students in our current building.

We offer a quality education for an affordable price to children in the local community, whilst also providing a free education to children from some of the most disadvantaged areas of rural Uganda. These identified children study at our Home School and stay free of charge at CEDA Boarding House.
