Client
Support Services Team |
|
 |
|
The Client Support Services Team
was established in January 2000 and encompasses a wide range
of services. The remit is to provide a service to people in
the community who need some additional support to enable them
to move into training, further education, employment or, alternatively,
to access volunteering opportunities. The team does this by
using a combination of measures including 1:1 guidance, targeted
training programmes and links with local services which meet
the specific needs of those with a range of barriers to face.
The team works in partnership with a range of local organisations
in order to maximise resources and link clients with appropriate
organisations who can help and support them. In addition an
outreach service provided by the team with surgeries operating
locally ensures the clients’ accessibility of mainstream
CEDA services, as well as ensuring a robust cross-referral
process.
