Values in the workplace
CEDA’s changing culture to benefit staff

CULTURE CLUB may conjure up
memories of Boy George’s 1980’s Pop
Band but to CEDA Culture Club has an
entirely different meaning.
It’s the name of a programme the company
has developed as it undergoes a
major cultural change designed to promote
its values.
Values which are already benefiting
staff and clients such as: Openness and
Honesty; Equality; Passion; “No problem”
attitude; Communication; and
Belief.
The process, which started in 2005
and is ongoing, has already been recog-
nised in the recent Investors in People
Re-recognition report which states:
“People were loyal to the organisation
and positive about the changes currently
underway. Information channels have
been opened up and management
actions relating to people polices has
been made more accountable.
“Efforts to consult, listen, and develop
processes which meet everyone’s needs
were prevalent throughout the review.”
Clients have also noticed a difference.
Betty Ingram from Care About You Ltd
says: “There is much more of a joined
up approach and teams are working
together to ensure we get the best possible
service. As a new business this is
really helping us.“

David Logan, CEDA staff member signing up
  CEDA’s Chief Executive, Fraser Kelly
said: “CEDA is committed to
learning and developing our
staff and we would encourage
our clients, be they individuals
or organisations, to adopt this
attitude and to contact CEDA
for help and assistance.”
CEDA has been supported
through the process by The
Loop Consultancy
www.gototheloop.co.uk who
designed a programme specifically
to meet their needs.
