A drop-in centre which offers clients support towards education, training, employment, volunteering and self-employment as well as internet access, access to vacancies, community information, assistance with application forms & C.V.s, careers library, information on funding, learning software, free stationary/postage and refreshments.
Open 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Childcare Extra provides help for parents who are in, or about to start:-
• Training
• Employment
• Education

If you are a parent and want to return to education, training or employment due to child issues, then our Childcare Mentor can offer advice and assistance with:-
• Childcare costs
• Finding childcare to meet your specific needs
• Information on Children’s Tax Credit

Action Teams for Jobs
If you are looking for work, Action Teams For Jobs could help you with financial assistance to meet the costs of training, travel to interviews, travel during first month of employment, clothing for interviews or starting work, protective clothing or tools needed to take up work or cost of living expenses for the first month of your new employment.

Call into CEDA between 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday to check your eligibility.

 
Personal and Social Development
A wide range of personal and social development opportunities designed to assist clients who wish to return to education, training or employment. The workshops are all interactive and run on a rolling timescale with clients benefiting from as many or as few sessions as they wish to attend. The majority of clients experience an increase in their self confidence and self esteem which has a positive impact on many other areas of their lives.
Careers Scotland
CEDA works in partnership with Careers Scotland and Careers Advisers come into CEDA each week to see young clients. Careers Scotland can support you in reaching a career decision, knowing more about careers, finding out about available opportunities, knowing how to apply for training, courses, or jobs and getting the training, course or job you want.
