| Over 388 people crowded
into Castlemilk Community Centre on Thursday 14th August to see what
jobs were on offer for them. ‘That’s the best attendance
we’ve ever had at a Jobs Fair,’ said Liz Mallon from CEDA
who, with the Action Team for Jobs Team, organised the event. ‘Follow-up
work will now commence to ensure we get as many job outcomes as possible
from the people who attended.’ Similar events were held in Gorbals and Shettleston as part of the South Side Action Teams for Jobs development. Anyone looking for a
job or for skills training or preparation for work advice should
