CEDA GET PEOPLE FIT FOR LIFE

Fit for Life was a fun day for organisations to highlight what is available in Castlemilk to keep people fit, mentally and physically.
CEDA, naturally, was up for this as the fundamental reason for CEDA's work is to find ways to improve the economic development of Castlemilk - i.e. help people acquire the skills and training to land them the right job.
The team at the Braes was Frances Dolan and Jane Clarke, both project support officers at CEDA. 'It was nice to come back to the Arcade were we used to have a base,' said Jane. With questionnaire in hand they were able to spread the word that training and jobs were only a step away for anyone who entered CEDA's office at Glenwood Business Centre. 'It was a busy day, but a successful one,' said Frances. 'We've made contact with new people who would like to use CEDA's services which are free to people living in the Greater Castlemilk area.'

Jane Clarke tells pupils from St Margaret Mary's Secondary what CEDA can offer them when they leave school.

Frances Dolan found people of all ages were interested in accessing training.

The event was organised by Castlemilk Community Forum whose project co-ordinator Marion Osborn is pictured here with Jane Clarke from CEDA..
